Ruth Boisvert-Blair
Ruth thoroughly enjoys the interactions that she shares with her students. She is constantly exploring ideas to help motivate her students to achieve their goals. Musical enjoyment is ever at the forefront of her thoughts; she’ll gladly teach a student who plays solely for their own enjoyment just as much as one who seeks to attain a professional performance calibre. She seeks to impart her pleasure and passion for music to young and old alike, believing that every individual can learn and love music!
In 2000, Ruth obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Performance with honours/distinction from McGill University. Since then she has continued her training regularly through select teachers, institutes and workshops.
She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and Suzuki Musique Montréal.
Along with her musical pursuits, which include playing piano for her church and singing for various special events, she is an avid reader and photographer, and loves to have fun with her children, husband, and friends.
